What should you know about glass?

CLEANING PRODUCTS

What do we use to clean your windows? We typically use a combination of water, vinegar, and dish soap. The vinegar cuts through the grime and the dish soap makes the solution more slippery and easier to wipe away. We use lint-free cloths, a scrubber & squeegee OR our waterfed pure water technology. We have poles ranging from 2'-40' plus step stools and more to make your windows squeaky-clean.

Cleaning 3rd Story Windows!

PURE WATER TECHNOLOGY

WATERFED POLE

We've made a large investment in pure water technology. Why is this so exciting? We can clean up to 3 stories many times safely from the ground. Safety first! No chemical or mineral damage will be left behind; it's entirely environmentally friendly using literally just pure, deionized water.

What exactly is this technology? Water from a spigot onsite is connected to our filtration system. This removes mineral deposits, and makes pure water. This filtered water is fed through a small hose going up through our carbon fiber pole. We clean your windows using a brush or scrubber pad at the end of the cleaner pole along with this pure water. Your windows dry spotlessly!

Vinyl Porch Windows

TINTED & VINYL WINDOWS

Tinted & vinyl windows should be cleaned carefully with products that are safe for these specific surfaces. The same solution that we use to clean other windows is also safe for these types of windows. Make sure to never use ammonia on these types of windows or you will degrade them. Check your cleaning products to make sure that they are safe for spot-cleans on these materials.

Hard Water Deposits

HARD WATER

Hard water deposits on your windows are caused by water that has high mineral deposits sitting on the glass. These minerals contain higher-than-usual amounts of calcium and magnesium ions. When the water evaporates, it leaves behind stubborn chalky-looking droplets of residue. Highly visible hard water deposits typically cannot be removed with just a quick clean. We use an eco-friendly hard water remover similar to a toothpaste consistency.

Broken Seal in Double Pane Window

BROKEN SEALS

When a window is manufactured with two or more panes of glass, spacers and seals are used to insulate the gas between the panes. This gas keeps the glass rigid and assists in insulation efficiency. Over time, the seals can break or rubbers deteriorate. Moisture sneaks in slowly causing unsightly spots, fogging or streaks that cannot be cleaned from either side of the exterior glass. Solutions include an onsite repair of the affected window or window replacement. We can offer some referrals for these services.
